RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

The IC Parish Religious Education is a volunteer-based mission to educate and promote the Catholic Faith. Classes are held for children of Pre-K (ages 3-6) all the way up to 8th grade. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, which is a Montessori-based religious education program taught by a certified catechist (see www.cgsusa.org for more information) for ages 3 through third grade.

The five goals of faith formation sessions at Immaculate Conception Church:
  • Provide Knowledge of God
  • Create opportunities for a deep experience of God
  • Provide an experience of community
  • Communicate the sense of being needed
  • Develop a sense of wider social responsibility
IC Religious Education also offers preparation for the sacraments of Penance, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation through the program. Let the Religious Education teacher know of your students' needs for these sacraments. On-line registration is happening through Faith Direct you can sign-up online at https://membership.faithdirect.net/events/org/796.

Classes are held each Sunday:
9:30-10:45 am  - Pre-K through 4th grade
4:30-5:45 pm - 4th through 8th grade (before the 6 o’clock rock Mass)
