This year, with pandemic concerns, we are doing this a little differently. You won't see the Giving Tree in the front of the church but we are still supporting many families. We are seeking donations and contributions that we will then use to purchase gifts for the families being supported by the program. We need your help!

Please give online at FaithDirect (, by mail, in the parish office, or using the collection box in Church (Please note Giving Tree on your check or envelope if using the general collection box).

I know that we will miss seeing the gifts gather around the Sanctuary and you might miss shopping for that cute onesie or that special gift, but we still need your help serving the Body of Christ.

Giving Tree collection ends December 5, 2020.

The Giving Tree is there to support families who, due to economic constraints, face difficulties in celebrating the birth of Jesus.

This year we are taking nominations from October 10 through November 1. The parish office will coordinate with nominated families. Thank you all for your support both in identifying families and helping provide for these families.

2020 Giving Tree Nomination Guidelines

Giving Tree Nomination Window: October 10 - November 1

Households that qualify: Households that are part of the Parish community, Households that attend or work at the school, households recommended by our Spanish outreach team, or households that have received aid from our Giving Tree in the past 3 years.

Priority placement for admission: All nominations received between October 10 and November 1 will be prioritized first by the highest number of children (12 & under), then by the highest number of teens (13-17), and then by the fewest number of adults (18 or older).

Late requests and Non-qualifying households: All non-qualifying households that applied during October 10 - November 1 will be admitted on the same priority scale above if capacity permits. All late requests will be admitted on a first come first serve basis if capacity permits.

Capacity concerns: It is possible that those parameters alone could cause us to exceed our capacity. Therefore, every family beyond the 20th family will be admitted after consultation with the Pastor, Parish Manager, Family Life Coordinator, and the Lead Volunteer of the Giving Tree. Once we have determined capacity has been met, all other families will be notified. and no new households will be admitted to the Giving Tree Program.
