Our Lenten Almsgiving Project this year was to establish a fund that will help immigrants and refugees.  Many in our parish and school community have been forced to flee their homeland for a variety of reasons including the threat of violence and lack of opportunities to support their families. Many of them come to this country with little to nothing and must reestablish their entire lives. This fund ensures that when refugee families in our parish share with us their needs, we are able to provide for them. Since families' needs vary and limited space in the parish, we collected monetary donations so that items can be purchased as a need arises. For more information, please read Fr.
